At just 16, Laine is trained in Jujutsu, Aikido, aerial dance, gymnastics, jazz dance, modern/contemporary dance and classical ballet. She first trained with George Jayne at Sierra Dance Institute and was a member of Air-Aligned Aerial Dance Company before moving to the Bay Area in 2008. She attended Oakland School of the Arts from 2008 to 2011, dancing under the direction of Reginald Ray Savage and Maia Siana. She has been training with Diablo Ballet in the Intermediate / Advanced program since 2008. Laine has attended numerous Tremaine conventions and the ABT Advanced Summer Intensive in New York. She currently enjoys taking classes at LINES Ballet and the San Francisco Conservatory of Dance. Laine joined NBT as an apprentice this season.
