Leah Marie Bueno was born in Northern California and began training with San Francisco Ballet and Joffery Ballet principals Jamie Zimmerman and Dominique Angel. She then went on to train with The San Francisco Ballet School where she was introduced to her long time mentor Maria Vegh. Leah trained with Ms. Vegh at her private facility The Maria Vegh Ballet Centre for many years and was coached by her for International competitions including The Youth American Grand Prix in which she received a first place trophy. After Ms. Vegh retired from teaching full time Leah went on to train with the Contra Costa Ballet School and The Boston Ballet School both as a scholarship student.

At seventeen Leah began her professional career and has danced with The Sacramento Ballet, Inland Pacific Ballet, and Don Arden’s Jubilee where she danced many classical and contemporary roles. In addition to being a dancer Leah currently resides as Assistant Ballet Mistress at the Northern California Dance Conservatory under International Ballet Master Theodore Constant and Director Jen Bradford.  Leah would like to dedicate her work to her family and husband who are always her biggest motivation. This is Leah’s first season with Napoles Ballet Theater.
